Toronto electronic duo Myla x Dafusia have shared a free stream of the title track from their forthcoming Werk It Out EP, out on July 2 on TrueSpin Records.

They first gained attention for their single ‘Take Your Mind’ in 2009 and followed it with the release of their debut EP Yuga One under their original name Hawri ‘n Mandy. The pair travelled to India together to study the music and culture while working with Indian musicians for other projects.

The pair expects to release a full-length album later in 2015, details TBA.

Stream Shift K3y & Born Dirty’s ‘Misbehave’ for Free

UK artists Shift K3y and Born Dirty have joined forces to offer a free stream of ‘Misbehave’, out now on Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak label.

It’s an upbeat club track with catchy lyrics that’s an ideal summer anthem. This comes hot on the heels of his R ‘n B-influenced track ‘Name & Number’, out now via Ultra Music. The track has been remixed by Wax Motif, Cause & Affect, Chloe Martini, Mike Mago and Kideko as well as a VIP remix from Shift himself.

Born Dirty is the new project from Linden Jay and Son of Kick. The song combines Born Dirty’s bass-heavy style with Shift’s electro rhythms to create a seamless sonic union. The track has already gone viral thanks to the support of The Magician, GTA, Tommy Trash, Anna Lunoe, Thomas Gold, Chuckie, Funkagenda, and more.

Stream The Naturalists’ ‘What Puts You to Sleep’ for Free

Buffalo’s The Naturalists have shared a free stream of ‘What Puts You to Sleep’ from their forthcoming debut EP Home Honey, I’m High, out on July 28.

This is the newest one on the EP, It’s a bit heavier and the lyrics are kind of cryptic. It’s about that weird feeling you get when you wake up after a dream, but you can’t remember the dream,” singer and guitarist Craig Perno explained in a statement. “Sometimes I’ll wake up with this weird feeling from a dream the night before but I can never remember the dream.”

The band came together when Perno recruited his brother Travis to lay down drum tracks on demos. They quickly recruited bassist Zach Russell who abandoned plans to attend college when he saw the band’s potential.

They recorded the album at Quiet County Audio with Paul Besch. Located just outside of their hometown, they didn’t let the extreme cold and heavy snow that battered the area and let it intensify the sessions as they wrote songs about realizing that a relationship is coming to an end and drinking.

The best songs come easier to us,” Pemo said. “It’s almost the motto we have as a band, if the song takes longer than twenty minutes to write, its probably not going to be a good song.”

Catch The Naturalists on the following dates;

07/31 The DEV In Utica, NY

08/01 Piano’s Lounge, New York, NY

08/02 John & Peter’s Place, New Hope, PA

Funeral Advantage have shared the video for ‘Sisters’ from their forthcoming debut album Body is Dead, out on August 25 via The Native Sound.

The album comes after multiple EPs and split releases. The album takes its title from the 10-minute closer and finds Funeral Advantage, aka Tyler Kershaw, embracing the electronic and indie rock elements of his past efforts while retaining a pop sensibility.
