The event will run from May 13 to 15 at Arcosanti in Arizona.
Hundred Waters were inspired by the music festivals they played around the world; the events had little meaningful intimacy and any possible interactions, as well as connecting with the environment.
They envisioned an event that would much more personal. After visiting Arcosanti seventy miles of Phoenix and south of Sedona, they knew they had found the perfect site for the event. The site is an “urban laboratory” focused on innovative design, community, and environmental accountability. Since the 70’s, it’s been built by a group of over 7000 residents and students under the direction of the late visionary architect and Frank Lloyd Wright understudy, Paolo Soleri.
It is free to apply to the festival and the event features three days of performances, discussions, workshops, installations, technologies and activities that celebrate creativity, foster collaboration, inspire new work & perspective, and promote the role of art in public life.
