The video had its genesis after director and producer Sam King caught Danielle and Gabrielle Verderese’s performing in Las Vegas and witnessed first-hand how dedicated their fans were.
The resulting video plays on that with their fans initiating themselves into the #dmndmob by getting the words tattooed on their bodies, creating a ritualistic and cult-like atmosphere.
“We were feeling the reggaeton vibes and brought that into a big, epic trap drop with a dark, party anthem feel. The lyrics reflect being lit with your squad and just living in the moment (“not worried about the fall right now”) and who doesn’t want it all and want to accomplish as much as possible in this life … The lyrics are so universal and speak to all the dreamers out there,” Duelle said in a statement.
Since forming in LA, the Verderese sisters have worked with Riot Ten and Ricky Remedy. They have released music on labels including Firepower, Buygore and Thrive. They also routinely sell-out their gigs.
“We just spoke on picturing our goals and the things we wanted to achieve. They say you have to see them to make them come to life. I think anyone can relate to this,” they said.
