Videos for a Lazy Sunday: Connor Youngblood’s ‘Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge’

The video for Connor Youngblood‘s ‘Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge’ was released on National Bird Day and takes its named from a bird refuge in Utah that spans over 80,000 acres and serves as an oasis for birds migrating across North America.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service and non-profit Sustain Music & Nature approached Youngblood after hearing about his fascination with bird watching and flew him to the refuge where he spent several days observing Western grebes, American avocets and the landscape.

He put his thoughts on the experience to music. Fifty per cent of the proceeds from the single will go towards supporting the national wildlife refuge system in the US.
