VICE Records and Action Bronson have unveiled a new series that will show VICE recording artist and renowned foodie Bronson traveling the world in search of finest dining spots around the world from food stands to Michelin-starred restaurants.
The vid captures the raucous energy of the band’s live shows.
“Since it’s our first official video, we wanted to keep it simple and give people a feel for our live show. For us, being able to play a great live show is just as important as having good songs,” vocalist and guitarist Graham Bockmiller remarked in a statement. “Electro bands that have a lot of backtracks are really popular right now, and we’re trying to stay away from all of that. If there’s a Terminator 2 robot apocalypse in the near future and the machines take over, we’re gonna be fucked. But that’s a risk we’re willing to take.”
Italy-via-The UK producer Phonat, aka Michele Balduzzi, has shared the track ‘Ride The Prejudice’ from his forthcoming Identity Theft EP, out June 4 on OWSLA. Pitchfork is hosting the song.
The six song effort takes the listener on a aural journey, fusing French house and funk with trip hop and downtempo.
