Austin, Texas psych-rockers Empire Machines have shared a free stream/download of ‘Wanted Way’ from their forthcoming EP Animal Skin, out on July 21, 2015.
They also offered a free stream of the EP;
The band started life in 2009 when the core members, high school friends singer and guitarist Matt Blackwell, and bassist Trey McKinley moved to Austin to attend college. They went through a few line-up changes before settling into their current incarnation with drummer Matt Reynolds and lead guitarist and backing vocalist Bruce Smith Jr.
The band’s sound melds indie rock and psych-rock.
