Stream Water From Your Eyes’ ‘All A Dance’ for Free

Brooklyn-via-Chicago duo Water From Your Eyes have shared a free stream of the title track from their album All A Dance, out on January 19 via Exploding in Sound Records.

This follows the release of ‘We’re Set-up’ from the album;

This is the follow-up to their Long Days, No Dreams. Nate Amos and Rachel Brown formed Water From Your Eyes in 2016.

Videos for a Lazy Sunday: Dirty Dishes’ ‘Lackluster’

The Bradford Krieger-directed video for NYC’s Dirty Dishes‘ ‘Lackluster’ features shots of the band’s singer Jenny Tuite interspersed with a collage of colorful images.

The track can be found on the band’s debut album Guilty, out now on Exploding in Sound Records. The band split the recording of the album between LA and Boston. Producer Chris Thompson recorded Guilty in his garage.

Videos for a Lazy Sunday: Stove’s ‘Stupidest’

Vegetables take their revenge in the video for Stove‘s ‘Stupidest’, the latest single from their debut album Is Stupider, out now on Exploding in Sound Records.

The album was written and performed in its entirety by Stove Van Borden, aka Steve Hartlett. He tool the songs that he had written for his previous band Ovlov‘s sophomore album into a new vision with a rotating cast of musicians. He recorded the tracks by himself over the course of three days, concluding on 4/20.

Stream Big Ups Before a Million Universes for Free

Big Ups have shared a free stream of their sophomore album Before a Million Universes ahead of its March 4 release date on Exploding in Sound Records.

They also recently unveiled the video for ‘National Parks’;

The track is a tribute to the sacrifices that frontman Joe Galarraga’s made in raising him.


The band’s four members met studying music technology at NYU, drawing inspiration from everything they saw in NYC, both good and bad.

Stream Two Inch Astronaut’s ‘Personal Life’ for Free

Two Inch Astronaut have shared a free stream of the title track from their forthcoming third album Personal Life, out on February 5 on Exploding in Sound Records.

The band also shared a free stream of ‘Good Behavior’;

The new release finds the band mixing in pop ballads with their jagged hardcore. Two Inch Astronaut have been around in one configuration or another since 2009 but the band had its beginnings in the early 2000’s as a guitar and cello(!) duo before settling on their current incarnation.

Washington, DC’s Swings have shared the Maggie Menditto-directed video for ‘Tiles’ from sophomore album Sugarwater, out now on Exploding in Sound Records.

It’s also available on cassette via Como Tapes.

Singer and guitarist Jamie Finucane and percussionist Dan Howard first met via middle school baseball and bassist Zach Lewton joined the fold.

Sugarwater is the follow-up to their debut album Detergent Hymns.

Stream Gnarwhal’s ‘Anal Riffage’ for Free

Nashville, Tennessee’s Gnarwhal have shared a free stream of ‘Anal Riffage’ from their forthcoming album Shinerboy, out on June 23 on vinyl via Flannel Gurl Records and on cassette via Exploding in Sound Records.
