Videos for a Lazy Sunday: July Talk’s ‘Guns + Ammunition’

Toronto blues rockers July Talk have shared the video for the title track from their Guns + Ammunition EP, out now on Island Records.

The black and white, single shot video illustrates the contrast between frontman Peter Dreimanis’ raspy growl and Leah Fay’s sweet vocals.

The band came together in 2012 after Dreimanis heard Fay singing at a bar in Toronto and knew he had met his match. From there, the band hooked up with guitarist Ian Docherty, bassist Josh Warburton and drummer Danny Miles. They have gone onto share the stage with Billy Talent, Matt Mays, Arkells, Sam Roberts, and Besnard Lakes.

The EP was produced by Alexandre Bonenfant (Metz, Crystal Castles).
