Legendary Toronto booker Dan Burke has unveiled the latest series of shows that will roll into the Big Smoke’s infamous Silver Dollar Room including T.O. band Beliefs who were recently named a band to watch by the NME.

Looking For A Place T.O. Happen, November 9 & 10

It’s a fairly busy night tomorrow night, November 9, with a lot of great choices if you’re looking to catch some live music.

White Girl Records is putting on a gig at the Horseshoe with Decades, featuring ex members of Dirty Mags, Beliefs, Mausoleum and Elsa. Cover is $8

Or, head a little further west on Queen street to the Great Hall for The Long Winter Volume One, part Exclaim!‘s 20th anniversary concert series, featuring Fucked Up, Diana, Wyrd Visions Vs Black Walls, Unfinished Business, Pudu Feck, Cell Memory & Castle If. Best of all, cover is PWYC!

The Silver Dollar features the second night of Optical Sounds compilation release shows featuring B-17, the BB Guns, Revolvers, Persian Rugs, Volcano Playground.  Cover is $6.

Saturday night sees The Darcys performing their interpretation of Steely Dan’s Aja at Lee’s Palace. Ray Pila and Receivers are also on the bill. Cover is $12.

Sarah Neufeld, best known for her work with Arcade Fire and Bell Orchestre, is playing the Drake Hotel with Leif Vollebekk.
