Looking For A Place T.O. Happen, April 6

The Horseshoe has a solid line-up on April 6 with The Elwins‘ CD release party. They’ll be joined by By Divine Right, Will Currie And The Country French and Michael Rault. Cover is $10.

The Rattlesnake Choir are rolling into The Cameron House for an early evening show, it starts at 6 pm.

Or, head a little further up Spadina to The Silver Dollar for Montreal’s PyPy‘s Toronto debut. Pow-Wows, B-17 and Mexican Slang are also on the bill. Cover is $8.

It’s the week before Canadian Music Week so it’s understandably a bit slow as everyone is gearing up for the all the insanity.

But, there are still still several solid bets.

Pop With Brains #42 is taking place at The Rivoli on March 15 with yet another solid line-up featuring boyBITCH, who will be holding their album release party, Bella AkiraMe & My Rhythm Box and The Fires Of.

As always, there will be art from Joce KayLiz EmirzianSassmowth DesignsLouise FergusonAntoinette DesignShirley Ceravolo and Crank Passerines by Carri.

Cover is $5 with all proceeds going to CAMH so come out for great music and a great cause.

Head a little further west on Queen Street tomorrow night for The Jessica Stuart Few, Bull Kelp and The Donefors at The Cameron House. Cover is $20.

L Con continues her release shows for her album The Ballads Reimagined with the third and final night at Saving Gigi on March 6. This show is titled “Voice” and features Isla Craig.
