Charlotte Day Wilson and River Tiber will play The Great Hall in Toronto on December 3.

The show wraps up an event-filled year for both Wilson and River Tiber, who produced her single ‘Where Do You Go’ from her album CDW, streaming for free below;

Wilson’s track ‘Work’ was used in Apple’s ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign and she also guested on BADBADNOTGOOD‘s ‘In Your Eyes’, from their album IV and hit the road with Local Natives.

River Tiber’s 2016 release Indigo joins collaborations with Kaytranada, Pusha T, Daniel Caesar, Jazz Cartier and more. He has gained recognition for his solo work and his collaborations with Frank Dukes, which in turn has led to vocal placements and session credits on songs by Drake, Travis Scott, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs and more.

His list of credits also includes working with BADBADNOTGOOD on their Polaris short-listed collaboration with Ghostface Killah Sour Soul.

Videos for a Lazy Sunday: Programm’s ‘Like the Sun’

The visuals in the Amos LeBlanc-directed video for the title track from Programm‘s Like the Sun EP perfectly match the song’s shift from a minimal intro to a swelling chorus.

The Toronto band came together thanks to their desire to bring together electronic music with Shoegaze-style guitars. Like the Sun is out on February 17 via The Hand. The EP was co-produced by Alexandre Bonenfant (METZ, Crystal Castles, Diamond Rings) and Jakub Soma. Graham Lessard (Timber Timbre, Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, Barr Brothers) mixed the EP.

Programm will play The Great Hall in Toronto on February 13 as part of the Long Winter Program.

Videos For A Lazy Sunday: Cadence Weapon’s ‘Hype Man’

Cadence Weapon (aka Rollie Pemberton) co-directed this video with George Vale and plays the dual role of a star rapper and his hapless hypeman.

The video is an exploration of the seamier, darker side of the rap world.

Pemberton is also nominated for Rap/Hip Hop Artist of the Year at the Independent Music Awards (The Indies). The awards take place at the Kool Haus on March 22 and he will be performing.

He’s also slated to play the Great Hall on February 15 as part of the Wavelength Music Festival.

Videos For A Lazy Sunday: Odonis Odonis’ ‘Wipeout Beat’

Odonis Odonis guitarist Dean Tzenos created this video himself and he had this to say about it;

“‘Wipeout Beat’ is about the 9-5 grind – being bombarded by work and saddled with procrastination. You know that feeling of drowning under the weight of it all? Having wave-after-wave pushing your head underwater, without a moment to breathe? This song was meant as a motivator; a way of telling myself to suck it up and get shit done… all set to a Com Truise meets The Cramps soundtrack.”

The band will play Fucked Up‘s Long Winter program at The Great Hall in Toronto on February 8 before heading to SxSW.
