Stream Vow’s ‘Planks’ for Free

LA duo Vow have shared a free stream of ‘Planks’ from their forthcoming EP Make Me Yours, out on August 12 on The Native Sound.

Vocalist Julie Blake and instrumentalist Andrew Thomas have been known to dance along genre lines varying from synth-pop to dream-pop to darkwave and post punk. The band’s music is driven by drum machines, bass lines and Blake’s rich, soulful vocals. The EP finds the band’s music taking a turn for the darker with guitarist Nick Steinhardt, one half of Thomas’ ambient guitar duo Wife, contributing guitars to the EP. Fittingly enough, Steinhardt introduced the pair and took charge of all the visual aspects related to their music.
