I am planning on attending the gig plus it’s my birthday weekend so if you’d like come and hang out, considering it an unofficial h@tb get-together, I’ll be at Red Light (1185 Dundas St. W) for pre-drinks around 8’ish. Red Light is a very cool little bar with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. At first blush, it looks like your typical Ossington hipster bar but the vibe is more laid back, friendly neighbourhood bar you can hang out at and enjoy a few drinks with friends.
September 21 sees Toronto alt-country stalwarts The Sadies rolling into The Garrison with Shadowy Men From a Shadowy Planet, TV Freaks and Legato Vipers for an Alice Cooper tribute night. Tix are $10 at the door.

The Bloor Ossington Folk Festival is running this weekend, September 20 to 22, at venues along the Bloor/Ossington strip.
