Zammuto have shared the video for ‘Equator’ from their forthcoming album Anchor, out on September 2 on Temporary Residence Ltd.
The self-directed/edited video was shot using images generated by microscopes such as vinyl records, CD data pits, printed text, audio tape, and more, revealing the beauty that lurks just below the surface.
To celebrate their upcoming tour with Zammuto, Toronto-via-LA duo Snowblink unveiled the the Neil Haverty-directed video for ‘Inner Mini-Mississippi’.

Zammuto, the new project from The Books’ Nick Zammuto, have released a free EP in advance of their first-ever headlining tour.
The EP was recorded in Athens, Georgia earlier this year and features songs from the band’s debut album as well as classic Books tracks.

2012 is shaping up to be quite the year for New York electro artist Zammuto, the new project from former The Books guitarist Nick Zammuto.
In addition to their just announced dates with renowned post-rockers Explosions In The Sky, they also announced that they will be joining indie pop star Gotye for dates this fall, including one in Toronto and another in Montreal.
They’re currently supporting their recently released self-titled debut on Temporary Residence.
