Those Sundaze moments, the twilight hours after the party, or when you’re just trying to chill…This is Catching Z’s, a mix series for those moments in life when you want things to move a little more slowly,” Zed’s Dead said in a statement.
Zeds Dead have shared a free stream of ‘Back Home’, featuring Freddie Gibbs, from their forthcoming album, due out in mid-2016 on their Deadbeats label, title and release date TBA.
The duo also announced dates in Austin for SxSW and in Miami;

LOUDPVCK are in demand right now, working with everyone from Dada Life and 12th Planet to Major Lazer. He also shared a free stream of his collaboration with Zeds Dead, ‘Flies’, out now via Mad Decent;
LOUDPVCK and Williams bonded over their love of weed and willingness to take risks in the studio. It’s the first release from LOUDPVCK’s forthcoming Botany EP, out on July 31. The EP also features an appearance from Travis Barker of Blink 182.
Much like the Cajun dish it takes its name from, the event will bring together a mix of hip-hop and electronic music acts together to play in intimate venues.
“The fans can expect something they’ve never experienced before. Our iPods are not comprised of one genre, instead they encompass a myriad of music. This isn’t about throwing an event in a huge field with multiple stages (although big festivals are great), this particular event is about bringing different ‘stages’ of talent while providing a festival experience in an intimate setting; it exists in a space that has yet to be explored,” Scoremore’s founder Sascha Guttfreund said in a statement. “Three years ago we booked an event that featured Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Steve Aoki, Big Sean, Bun B, ScHoolBoy Q, Chiddy Bang, and had special guest sets by Skrillex and Wiz Khalifa. We were early in projecting the careers on that lineup, a lineup that today would be capable of selling out arenas. That’s what we’re here to do with JAMBALAYA. This is an eight hour event with the best mixture of hip-hop and dance music we could assemble. It is curated with love and passion for taste.”
Fan club tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 1 and come with a free 30 day premium Mad Decent membershipto the label’s subscription service. General and VIP tickets will go on sale on May 3 and 4. Tickets will be available here and here.
